Planning approval has been received for a major renovation of a dormer bungalow in Cumnor, Oxford. The alterations will create a transformed, contemporary family dwelling with open plan living areas, en-suite bedrooms and a new entrance and frontage. Alterations to the rear of the property will allow optimum access and views to the generous private rear garden areas. The renovations will include fabric upgrading to Passivhaus principles and target very low energy consumption in use. Construction is likely to start in early 2021.
